Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 6:00 PM, in the Community Room of the Weston Public Safety Building, 5303 Mesker Street, Weston, WI 54476, a Public Hearing on the 2019 Proposed Budget will be held.  The proposed budget, in detail, is available for inspection on the Town of Weston website: townofwestonwi.com or by appointment at the town office Monday through Friday.  Please call 715-241-8209 if you would like to set up an appointment.  The following is a summary of the proposed 2019 budget:

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF WESTON, MARATHON COUNTY

 

 

 

 

 

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2019 Budget, which begins at 6:00 PM in the Community Room of the Weston Public Safety Building, 5303 Mesker Street, Weston, a special town meeting of the electors will be called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(c), of Wis. Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held:

 

 

 

  1. To authorize the use of unused levy capacity from the prior year as determined by the department of revenue and as approved by the town board under resolution No.TW 2018-004 adopted pursuant to s. 66.0602(3)(f)3.c Wis Stat.
  2. To establish the compensation of the elected town officials for the terms of office to begin in April 2019 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(b)1 of Wis Statutes.
  3. To approve the 2018 total town tax levy to be collected in 2019 pursuant to s. 60.10(1)(a) of Wis Statutes.
